The Ancient Diarchy of Rathsos
Rathsonian History
- Ancient naval nation
- First to establish Eras'ii - representations of Tatunea later used to rationalise its adoption
- Diarchy prominent in culture (twin god/goddess), rule for state, rule for the metaphysical
- Often warred with Corsia over territories and occupied much of the eastern nation before their heavy defeat in the capital and subsequent cascading of losses
- Diarchy maintained as administrators until plague
- Rythian invasion and revolution
- Diarchy / independance restored for a prominent part of revolutionary history
- Maintained independance from corsia until a joint invasion with the support of loyalists and Lormontese aided a Corsian unification effort
- Culture always unique and beloved by the locals and visitors but over time this culture became associated with the Corsian royals through propaganda efforts and settlement
- Now upper-class and noble land but Eras'ii still is the most adopted deity by the residents of the region for the harmony of nature and the mystical metaphysical balance of the island
